I was born, raised and grew up in Manila, Philippines. Growing up, my family owned a clothing retail business sold in malls and my uncle is one of the renowned fashion designers in the Philippines. I grew up playing in my uncle's atelier and our family's factory. I was around textile, cutters, embroiderers, sewers, tailors, etc. growing up. I was also exposed to the import/export industry as our family business also branched out to importing clothing from China. I have no formal education in fashion and manufacturing, but I have learned everything in the retail/fashion business - from conception to production to proper sales channels/marketing - growing up the way I did.

Now based in Los Angeles, I am working as a costume supervisor for TV shows. My forte is live TV and reality shows; where the pace is extremely fast and anything can change at any given minute... even 30 minutes before show time! It is my job to be ready for anything at any given moment by intense preparation and proper staffing. My job is a mix of manufacturing, production, logistics, accounting, and team/administrative management. I coordinate logistics for my department for the shoots in studios and different locations, assembling the right people, facilities and supplies to make the costume designer's vision a reality; whilst balancing this with producers' budget and expectations.

I love my job! I also love working with people who are collaborative. I like to treat people with respect. I enjoy helping people and I love guiding my team through a difficult project; while also learning from them.

I love to read, travel and take pictures. I am currently learning photography and how to build a website so I can start my own blog! In between projects, I make it a point to go somewhere I have not been to yet. I like to roam around and find inspiration in art, design and architecture when I travel. I am also very entrepreneurial. I have small businesses in the Philippines and I go home every year to continuously grow them.

I do not want to box myself in only working in TV. I want
